  • Pineapple causes softening of the cervix. It induces contractions which might lead to premature birth.
  • Fenugreek or as Indians call it methi dana is extremely harmful during pregnancy. It might cause miscarriages.
  • Hing is a very common Indian spice which is used in almost every household. But, it  is avoided during pregnancy as it leads to nausea, throat infection etc. 
  • Consuming a lot of salty food causes implications with your pregnancy. So, avoid highly spicy and salty foods.
  • Starch is also to be avoided as it hampers the growth and development of the baby. So foods with high content of processed corn flour are avoided.
  • Seafood is really harmful for the baby. If you wish to have seafood, consult with a doctor first.
  • Aloevera has a million benefits. But it turns out to be harmful for pregnant women. It causes premature contractions, nausea and also hampers the foetus.
