Some researches suggest genetics as one of the factors however the quality of food intake in recent years has declined. For instance industrial oil is replacing desi ghee. desi ghee is less harmful than industrial oil.

Obesity

Obesity is another problem that has taken over the United states and is now eyeing towards India. As the number of fast-food joints increases the problem will get worse.

Companies like Mc Donald, KFC, Burger King are setting their branches in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. and these companies sell obesity in short. The food they serve is highly processed food made of fat and sugar. That causes digestive and heart related problems.

Though Indians may resist eating western food initially. But, once they get addicted to taste, there is no coming back. Because these food giants rely heavily on taste, they don’t look into what they are serving, which has psychological and physiological effects.
